About AiSU

We build for the companies that never had an IT department.

AiSU Strata Oy is a small Finnish company making one governed search across everything a team already uses — where every answer names the document it came from. Built in Finland, EU-hosted by default.

Our mission

Give every small team one governed place to ask their own documents — and an answer that shows where it came from.

Not a migration, not a data lake, not a per-seat licence. Connect what you already use, read it in place, cite the passage. If we cannot point at the source, we do not assert the answer.

Our vision

Work where nobody has to guess — and every decision can be traced back to the document that justified it.

A governed data backbone for European SMEs: your own systems, your own permissions, hosted in the EU or inside your own building. Sovereignty as the default, not the enterprise upgrade.

Our story

We kept losing our own documents.

Knowledge fragmentation is not an enterprise problem. A team of eight generates contracts in Drive, decisions in Slack, notes in Notion and invoices in a mailbox — and then spends its afternoons proving to itself what it already agreed.

The tools built for that problem assume an IT team, a migration budget and a per-seat licence. We wanted the opposite: connect what you already have, read it in place, and cite the source so nobody has to take the answer on faith.

That is AiSU Strata. It runs in our EU cloud, reads your sources live, and answers with the citation to prove it.

What we will not do

Store your documents. Files are read in memory to answer a question, then discarded.
Train on your data. Nothing you connect is used to improve a model.
Charge per seat. One price per organisation, whoever needs to ask.
Answer without a source. If nothing authoritative backs a figure, we say so.

How we work

Four commitments, written down.

Cite everything

Every answer names the file and the page it was read from. A green tick means we read it; when only prose mentions a number, we flag it as unconfirmed rather than sounding certain.

Read in place, keep nothing

Transient processing by architecture, not policy: documents are fetched per query, held in memory and discarded. Revoke a source and its content stops being searchable immediately.

Your permissions, per person

Each search runs as the person asking. If they cannot open the file in Drive or SharePoint, AiSU will not quote it to them — and every access is logged.

Sovereignty is a default, not an upsell

EU-hosted out of the box, with a self-hosted option on the roadmap for teams whose files must stay on site. Built in Finland, supported from Finland.

The team

Small, and answering the phone.

You will talk to the people who build it. Support comes from Helsinki, in your working hours.
